LIFE ON CAMPUS
At the heart of the campus is the Lightwell, a bright and open
café where you can have coffee next to a full-size elephant
skeleton! The Pod social learning space hangs above the
café and provides students with a quiet, comfortable area to
work in, either on your own or with classmates.
SOCIAL SPACES
The Haxby is our Students’ Union run bar at the Camden
Campus. We run freshers’ events, sports teams’ socials and
quizzes all with the aim of bringing the people of the RVC
together. With a pool table, TVs, sofas and bar snacks, we aim
to provide our hard-working students and staff with somewhere
to relax between lectures or unwind in the evenings.
HEALTH AND WELLBEING
The newly refurbished Camden gym offers weight and
cardiovascular machines, as well as a dance and aerobics
studio where we run Zumba, Yoga and Pilates classes.
The gym is free to use and is open seven days a week.
