FOR ANIMALS (QMHA)
“I completed a four week placement at the
Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA)
in the Emergency Service. I was initially nervous
about this, but the staff in the hospital were
very patient with me and are great teachers.
I really enjoyed the fact that we got to experience
working with interesting cases and I was able to
practice taking bloods, see cutting-edge surgery
and got to increase my confidence working in
emergency situations.”
