#RVCFORALL
We offer a number of scholarships to ensure the opportunity to study at the RVC is open to
students from a wide range of backgrounds. These scholarships are aimed at supporting
excellent students who would benefit from financial support during their course, and they have
had a fantastic impact on the recipients.
Thanks to the generous support of a number of individuals we are able to offer the following scholarships:
• ACT Catt Scholarship – for the FdSc and BSc in Veterinary Nursing
• RVC Rufus of Ruskinmere Sciences Scholarship – for the BSc courses
• RVC Rufus of Ruskinmere Community Scholarship – for any undergraduate degree course at the RVC aimed at those living
close to one of the RVC campuses
• RVC Linkou Scholarships – two scholarships for the BVetMed course
All scholarships are £5,000 per year for the duration of the course.
“Receiving the Linkou Scholarship has financially helped
to enhance my studying in various ways. The purchase
of an iPad has saved me countless hours of note taking,
enabling me to engage with the content more than I have
done before. I have noticed a significant improvement
in my assimilation of information from lecture especially
whilst working from home.
The scholarship also funded my lambing placement
this spring. This placement enabled me to employ the
theoretical techniques, which I learned in lecture to
practical scenarios. Working alongside a vet whilst I
was there, highlighted the differences between small
animal and farm veterinary; the latter being heavily
associated with treatments being financially viable.
Being a recipient of the Linkou Scholarship is an
opportunity, which I am very grateful to receive, and I
am excited for what Year Two of the course holds.”
