Assessment for this module requires the candidate to write three and camelids
essays related to professional issues: B-EP.3 Equine Practice
• Principles of professional reasoning and decision making
• Animal welfare, professional conduct and veterinary ethics
• Quality and safety in veterinary practice
The essays are submitted electronically, the candidate is not
required to attend the RVC. There is also a short online quiz of
multiple choice questions, covering animal and public health Ted, Beagle
protection, emergency care and the RCVS Code of Professional
Conduct. The final assessment activity is a reflective essay of the
candidate’s learning through the module.
