A study looking at the prescribing practices of primary-care vets treating dogs with bacterial pyoderma has been published in BMC Veterinary Research. The article estimates the frequency at which this skin disease is diagnosed, describes the characteristics of the disease and the treatment prescribed to a large number of dogs attending veterinary practices in the UK.
