On Saturday 16th June our ambassadors had a great time at the Brookmans Park Village Day, which takes place just 15 minutes from our Hawkshead campus in potters bar. It was the 59th annual village day and this year, the theme was Movie Magic.

Armed with an array of exciting specimens; both bones and plastinated organs, our students discussed animal anatomy with the visitors, and the importance of vets and scientists understanding of what goes on inside an animal.

They also had the chance to dress up like a vet in our surgery gowns, and practice bandaging an 'animals' paw, tail, or sometimes whole body!

It was also an opportunity for budding vets to join our Junior and Teen vet clubs via our sign-up leaflets, as well as learn more about our clinical services such as the dog and cat blood transfusion clinic.
