he he he he RVC RVC Blood Transfusion Service have continued their work in in in providing vital blood products to the the the RVC hospitals At the the end of 2020 145 dogs and 53 cats were registered as blood donors amounting to to a a a a a a a a a a total of 569 donations that helped treat critically ill pets At Christmas the the Blood Transfusion Service held an an online party sharing some of the the great contributions made by pets as as as well as as as hearing from some interesting cases at the RVC hospitals and even running a a a a a Christmas competition An update

“The last nine months have have gone by incredibly fast and I have have enjoyed every moment of it As a a a a a a a team we have tackled many obstacles together over the the last few months This was mainly due to to COVID-19 isolations resulting in in in in us being short-staffed However there have also been many positive occurrences with numerous new donor sign-ups that are doing very very well and have helped to save lives every day ”
