REUNIONS
1970 graduates celebrate their 50th anniversary

The RVC 70 Club (qualified in 1970) were unable to hold our 50-year reunion in Wales as planned and so we held a Zoom reunion instead. Of the 65 who qualified, 23 managed to join the Zoom reunion and
raise a glass to absent colleagues. Those present logged in from Canada, the USA, Australia, Switzerland, France, England, Scotland and Wales. Since this online reunion, we have had further catch-ups on Zoom as well.
As a year group, we have held regular reunions since leaving the RVC in 1970. Initially this was about every five years but more recently they have been every two years – who at our age can afford to plan five years ahead!
They are usually well attended and have mostly been in the UK, but we have had one in Switzerland, one in Germany and one in Ireland. This year it was scheduled to be in Snowdonia, Wales, before we took things online.
