The project aims to investigate the mechanisms leading to the emergence of zoonosis in urban and peri-urban areas of Nairobi. During the meeting the preliminary results of the livestock value chain analysis were presented. Initial results from the nutritional survey conducted in low income areas of Nairobi were also presented.
