Sarah is a Staff Clinician in Small Animal Internal Medicine working in the QMHA. She spends the majority of her time in the hospital overssing cases coming through the Internal Medicine service and teaching undergraduate students whislt on rotation.
Sarah graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015, and went on to complete a new graduate scheme at Eastcott Vets splitting her time between first opinion and referral cases. After a further year in first opinion practice she returned to the RVC to complete a rotating internship and residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine. She gained her American Diploma in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2021, and since finishing the resideny has stayed on as a Staff Clinician at the QMHA.
Sarah's research interests include gastroenterology, feline infecitous peritonitis and select topics in immune-mediated diseases such as immune-mediated thrombocytopenia.

Sarah's main teaching focus is supervising residents and interns in Small Animal Internal Medicine, and teaching undergraduate students rotating through the Internal Medicine Service. She is also involved in various Directed Learning Scenarios for both 3rd year and 4th year undergraduate students.
Sarah enjoys all aspects of clinical Internal Medicine, with a particular love for gastroenterology and more recently the revolutionary treatment of feline infectious peritonitis. She also enjoys clinical procedures, especially gastrointestinal endoscopy.
