Xavier is particularly interested in congenital cardiac diseases and mitral valve disease in dogs. He has a particular interest in progressing our understanding of prevalence and clinical management of congenital cardiac diseases, including minimally invasive cardiac interventions. He is also very interested in the development of our current cardiothoracic bypass programme, as well as the monitoring of the patients following cardiac bypass.
