UCAS

Applications for the BSc Biological Sciences and BSc Bioveterinary Sciences with a Certificate in Work-based Learning and Research programme are made by visiting UCAS online. The course code for BSc Biological Sciences with a Certificate in Work-based learning and Research is C101 and BSc Bioveterinary Sciences with a Certificate in Work-based learning and Research is D301. The institution code for the RVC is RVET R84.

Deadline: 15 January for September entry. We may still be able to consider applications received after this date, however we cannot guarantee this. Please contact the Admissions Office if you wish to apply after this date.

International and EU students may find the international information on the UCAS website helpful. Applications are welcome from applicants who wish to defer entry until after a gap year.

UCAS Extra

If you have applied through UCAS and are not holding any offers for whatever reason, you may be able to use UCAS Extra. UCAS Extra allows you to apply for any courses with vacancies from mid-February until early July. Any RVC vacancies in UCAS Extra will be listed on the UCAS website.

Please note it is not possible to transfer to the BVetMed course part-way through the BSc Biological Sciences and BSc Bioveterinary Sciences with a Certificate in Work-based Learning and Research programmes. Graduates from these courses are eligible to apply for the Graduate Accelerated BVetMed, subject to meeting the published entry criteria.

15 October (18.00 GMT) Deadline for submitting your application to UCAS if also applying for conventional entry into veterinary medicine degrees (e.g. courses with code D100, D101).
November  Biosciences Open Day is held for anyone interested in the course. This event will give you the opportunity to meet and talk to staff and current students about the course and to have a look around the Camden Campus. Please see our Open Day website page for further details and to book a place online.
15 January (18.00 GMT) Deadline for submitting on-time applications to UCAS, but we encourage earlier submissions.
Mid-February UCAS Extra opens. See UCAS website for RVC vacancies.
End of March Decisions will be made throughout the cycle but all applicants who have applied by the 15 January deadline should find out whether or not their application has been successful by the end of March
Late spring Accommodation information sent to all applicants who have accepted offers as Firm, or who are still to respond.
