The Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF)

The KEF is a national exercise launched in 2020/2021. The aim of the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) is to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the use of public funding for knowledge exchange (KE) and to further a culture of continuous improvement in universities. At the 2021 KEF results, the RVC ranked nationally in the top 10 per cent of Higher Education providers working with business. Additionally, the university was in the top 20 per cent for research partnerships, and in the top 30 per cent for working with the public and third sector.

The full KEF dashboard gives illustrative examples of different universities here. Select Royal Veterinary College from the drop down list.

The RVC offers a range of Knowledge Exchange opportunities. If you’d like to collaborate with us, or are interested in exploring funding for knowledge exchange with the Royal Veterinary College, you can contact the team: ke@rvc.ac.uk
